You can save a life! Natick observes the Good Samaritan Law, which provides immunity from prosecution for possession of a controlled substance if a person seeks medical assistance for someone experiencing a drug-related overdose (see M.G.L. ch.94c §34a). Additionally, the Natick Police and Fire Departments are committed to assisting community members who experience mental health and substance use disorders get the help that they need. First responders are here to help, so don’t be afraid to call in an emergency.
