Youth Involvement

Natick Above the Influence, also known as NATI, is a group at Natick High School that is open to any students who are interested in educating Natick about risky substance use and healthy decision making. NATI youth leaders aim to shift the perceptions of what teens’ social lives are and could be. To accomplish this, they use many outreach initiatives in collaboration with Natick 180 such as awareness campaigns and educational events to engage with each other and younger generations in Natick.

Each year, NATI members collaborate with Natick 180 on where to focus their efforts. Here are some examples of what NATI has done in the past.

Every year, NATI participates in sticker shock, where they go to local liquor stores and place stickers on packages to remind people not to purchase alcohol for anyone under 21 years old.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming more involved with NATI, please contact Elizabeth Chalfin at echalfin@natickma.org.

The Natick Above the Influence (NATI) students at Natick High hosted a police officer and young man in recovery at an educational event.
NATI members attended a conference in Washington, D.C. and had the opportunity to meet with representatives in Congress, including Senator Elizabeth Warren.
