June 2018 Addiction Resource Center

Natick Resource Center flyer JPGOn Monday evening, the Natick Opioid Task Force will host its monthly Addiction Resource Center workshop, 6:30 PM at the Natick Community-Senior Center. June’s topic will be “Treatment of Dual Diagnosis in Veterans: Tips for former service members who live with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders,” featuring Dr. Rudolph Agosti, MetroWest Medical Center psychiatrist who worked in the VA system for 9 years. Veterans, their family members, and anyone from the public who wants to learn more about supporting emotional health and wellness among veterans are encouraged to attend.

At 7:30 PM, free naloxone (a.k.a. Narcan) training, treatment navigation, and resources will be available to anyone from the public (you do not need to attend the workshop to utilize these services). Naloxone is distributed through the Natick Health Department and made possible through generous funding from the MetroWest Health Foundation.
