Like other Massachusetts communities, the Town of Natick has been struggling with the opioid epidemic that impacts all of us. We see addiction as a public health issue. It’s not about morals or strength of character. Addiction can affect anyone from any family. Together we can confront the stigma of addiction that prevents families from seeking the help that they need.
The Town of Natick adheres to the Good Samaritan Law and provides protection from prosecution for those who call 911 in the event of an overdose. We understand that we are not going to arrest our way out of this epidemic. We want to work with those needing help and assist them in accessing the services they need. If you or your loved ones is in need of help, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your police and fire departments.
Your community cares! We are in this together.
